A Review of Russian Bear 10000 Weight Gainer

Updated on October 6, 2018

Where I Started and How I Got Results

I used to be skinny. I weighed around 150 lbs and I was 6'1" tall, taller than the average male. People thought I was skinny. I wanted to change that—and it wasn't easy, but it was worth it.

Now, I've put on weight and clothes fit me like never before. I started by working out—I went to the gym at least 4 days a week—then I started supplementing my diet with Russian Bear 10000. I ended up gaining around 30 lbs in four months. I now weigh 180 lbs.

How I Used Russian Bear 10000 Weight Gainer

Unfortunately, there aren't many reviews about Russian Bear 10000 Weight Gainer online, so I was kind of hesitant to buy it at first. I ended up buying it based on my friend's recommendations—he told me that he takes it when he wants to bulk. I found it to be a little cheaper than familiar products such as Serious Mass and Pro Complex, even though those products are great, especially the latter.

I received my protein in a few days later. It was in good condition, and there were no holes in the container or any other suspicious things in the packaging (it’s important to check because a lot can happen during shipping).

Because I was so excited to taste the protein powder, I jumped right in and mixed one scoop of powder with cold milk and stirred for about 20 to 30 seconds. It mixes really well and I didn't feel any chunks while drinking it.

At the time, I had been taking whey protein from Serious Mass and I figured that Russian bear would have the same taste—they're both chocolate flavored, after all. It was something else completely. It tasted so sweet that I thought I would get diabetes after of that one taste. The sweetness comes from the large amount of sugar they put in it, and that's the only major con I noticed. People who are watching their sugar intake or who have diabetes should probably check with their doctor before consuming this regularly.

The recommended serving is six scoops a day, but honestly just three or four scoops a day is enough for regular guys. While taking Russian Bear, I never noticed any stomach discomfort or laziness—I was almost always excited to go to the gym and work out as hard as I can. I started to notice gains after one week.

I sometimes have one scoop of Russian Bear in the mornings with milk. After training, I consume two scoops with of the powder mixed with cold water, and just before bedtime, I would have one more scoop mixed with yogurt and 5 to 7 almonds to help me recover. That's what my gym trainer advised.

I highly recommend Russian Bear 10000 Weight Gainer to anybody who is looking to bulk up.

Should I Mix My Protein With Milk or Water?

Protein supplement companies usually include milk when calculating the nutrition facts found on the label because milk provides additional protein, calcium, and vitamins. As an athlete, you will notice that experienced weightlifters take protein with water after their workout; at other times of the day, they take it with milk.

When Is the Best Time to Drink a Protein Shake?

My schedule went like this:

  • One scoop in the morning during breakfast, mixed with milk.
  • Two scoops post-workout, mixed with water so that it can be absorbed faster.
  • One scoop before bedtime, mixed with milk or 5 to 7 spoons of yogurt. The latter is so that the casein can be digested slowly.

Tips for Weight Gain

  • You shouldn't replace your meals with protein—you should add it to your meal to add additional nutrients.
  • Eating fast will help you to eat more.
  • Don't train on an empty stomach.
  • Eating oats before your workout will give you a boost while exercising.
  • Consuming one scoop of protein with full-fat milk or yogurt and a few almonds at night will help it absorb slowly, providing you nutrients throughout the night
  • Always mix your protein powder with cold beverages, such as cold water, cold milk, or cold juice.
  • Each flavor has different nutrition facts. For example, the chocolate flavor tends to have more fat, potassium, and carbohydrates.

@tasawar You have to do the cardio workouts at least once a week, and try to eat healthy food, because the food you eat determines 75% of the abs, and the 25% is left for workouts.

Ahmed, Well you could, but don't expect to get the muscles, you will end up gaining too much unwanted weight (big belly), but I have a friend who used to take weight gainer supplements without exercising, he would take just one scoop in the morning with breakfast meal, and sometimes he takes another scoop at the evening, but he was skinny guy and he doesn't like to eat much, his appetite was always closed, he ended up gaining some weight though, he just wanted to be big, so there was no problem with him.

for optimum results you should combine Russian Bear with work out.
