High-Protein 'Broccoli Cheddar Breakfast Bars' Are Ideal for Meal Prep

Make a big batch and eat them all week.

Growing up, broccoli may not have been a favorite amongst many kids, but when paired with cheese, practically any kids would make the exception and devour the popular dish. Now as adults, many have grown to appreciate the nutritional profile of broccoli and try our best to incorporate it into our meals that we eat on a daily basis.

Thankfully, there are quite a few tasty broccoli recipes that we’ve found and discovered over the years, but this latest recipe we found from TikTok content creator @gatherednutrition is one recipe we can not wait to try — it looks so delicious!

To make these high-protein breakfast bars, you’ll need the following ingredients: broccoli, chicken breakfast sausage links, eggs, cheddar cheese, baking powder, olive or avocado oil, oat flour and your favorite seasonings (she used salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder).

To prepare the bars, you’ll want to cook the chicken and broccoli and once done cooking, you’ll want to allow them to cool before adding the two ingredients to a large bowl with the other ingredients. Finally, you’ll add the mixture to your baking dish and allow it to bake for 27-30 minutes.
