Trainer Shares Simple Exercise Routine for Menopause That Works

Do you wake up in the morning stiff as a board? Do you suffer from a limited range of motion too? TikTok content creator and personal trainer @strengthandbloomfit shows us a few exercises that can help increase our mobility. You don’t need a gym membership or fancy equipment to get started.

These simple exercises help build lean muscle.

She shows us six easy exercises designed to help increase flexibility. Sign us up for that! She tells us that these exercises help to build lean muscle mass and this is especially important after menopause, as cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of women. If you haven't exercised in several years or ever before, you'll still be able to do this routine.

The first exercise she shows us is a side bend. She tells us this exercise is designed to strengthen the core. Next is a standing oblique crunch. If you hate doing abs on the floor, this is a great alternative. Then it’s time to grab a weight and twist in place. Next is the standing bicycle crunch, followed by the hand to knee and foot. We love to do core exercise that don’t pull on our necks. She tells us these moves were also designed to include a cardiovascular element.

The audience was happy to see this routine. Viewer @Laura commented, “just what I've been looking for. I have the equipment, just unsure of moves to do which help. Having awful joint pain, so I'm hoping it helps.” Viewer @user3483803338626 commented, “Thank you, this looks great at 50. I need to do this.” We need to give this a try too!

We're happy to have this easy routine to do. It will feel great to be flexible again!
