Easy 'Immune-Boosting' Tea Is a Must-Make for Winter

Do you want to stay healthy for the holiday? Would you make yourself a drink to keep those germs away? TikTok content creator @nutritiouslyeasy shares her immune-boosting tea recipe. And it sounds pretty good, actually.

This tea is high in vitamin C and antioxidants. And it must smell of happiness!

We handle drinking this tea! For this easy recipe, she starts by peeling an orange. She adds three cups of water to the skins, along with 3 whole cloves, and 3 cinnamon sticks. She tells us that she's using orange skins because they contain far more vitamin C than the orange itself. The cinnamon sticks are anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. And clove contains eugenol, which helps the body fight off infection. This spicy brew will also make your house smell delightful.

The audience enjoyed seeing this idea. Viewer @BethBarnes982 commented, “I just made this and also added ginger and turmeric and maybe 1/2 tsp of honey and wow. 10/10 I don’t drink coffee or much tea, but this is perfect.” That sounds nice. Another fan said, “This is an old Cuban recipe. You’re missing some things. You need to add lemon peels, a teaspoon of honey, and drink before going to sleep.” That’s another great idea. Viewer @dawniles1 asked, “Ok, I'm really trying to get into this, but if you're prematurely peeling oranges, what do you do with the orange?” And @nutritiouslyeasy replied, “I ate it while I was cooking it hahaha **not shown.” That sounds good to us.

We love the idea of staying healthy and making our homes smell like orange and spice, especially for the holidays. We'll be drinking this tea all winter long.
