The first step she mentions in the quick video is to snack on fruits (and veggies). While there are so many delicious fruits to choose from, fruits that are hydrating are especially great options considering they’re delicious, nutritious and hydrating. Fruits such as watermelon, strawberries, peaches, pineapple and raspberries are great options, just to name a few. Additionally, they offer a ton of benefits when consumed, especially on a daily basis.
Next, she suggests making your own cashew, almond or oat milk because most grocery store nut milks have tons of unnecessary ingredients that aren’t great for gut health. Also, it’s not as difficult as it may seem to make your own milk!
Lastly, she suggests to wilt in some spinach or arugula into as many of your savory meals as possible as a simple way to sneak in extra greens throughout the day.
