Rather than stopping the diet after the three days, can I continue for longer without stopping?


The purpose of the four-day break is to add variety and to increase caloric intake to avoid going into starvation mode.

Some have successfully continued the diet with less break in between, but the key is to listen to your body.

If you start to experience burnout, or if your weight loss slows considerably, go ahead and take the four-day break to refocus, refuel, and reset your metabolism.
